Pergamon was one of the most important centers of the Mysia region in ancient times. It was also the capital of the kingdom of Pergamon between 282-133 BC. The name Pergamon comes from Pergamos, a legendary hero.Pergamos,after killing the king of Teuthrania, is believed to have conquered the city and gave its name.The historical city within the borders of the Canakkale province is the antique city where the Trojan War, which is believed to have been written by Homer, is one of the two poetic destinies of Ilyada. In the 1870s, the German amateur archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann discovered the ancient town near Tev kiye village. Today, most of the works are in Turkey, Germany and Russia. The ancient city has been in the World Heritage List since 1998 and the National Park since 1996. Then we will go to Istanbul which is the World Culture City in 2010.Accommodation in the Istanbul region. Day 10: Topkapi Palace – Optional Bosphorus Tour – Golden Horn – Pier loti – Return After breakfast we will head to theTopkapı Palace,the command center of the Ottoman Empire and the Sultan’s Palace.You will see art works and treasure rooms that shed light on the power of the Ottoman Empire. We will visitThe Golden Horn which is said to be used as a natural harbor in the Byzantine period.The Golden Horn is also a great asset in the history of Istanbul.At the end of the Golden Horn you will enjoy the
perfect view of the “Golden Horn”at the world famous Pier loti Tartan.Then,you can join the optional Bosphorus Tour.In the Bosphorus tour you will be amazed by the places between Europe and Asia, which are Palaces, Mosques,Bosphorus Bridge, Castles, and Yalıs.Then we will go to the airport with unforgettable memories of Amazing Turkey.
